Marvel has been on a role lately. Their latest Avengers movie teased the arrival of a new character onto the scene, Captain Marvel. Starring Brie Larson, the trailer doesn’t offer up a ton of details or direct hints towards the plot (which is actually a good thing).
What we can tell is that the movie appears to be set in either the 90’s or early 2000, prior to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) heading up S.H.E.I.L.D.

From the looks of the trailer I think this will at the very least be an enjoyable addition to the franchise. It will be interesting to see if Marvel Studios stays true to the more serious Captain Marvel character or produces a more lighthearted film that fits into their current lineup.
