The Spider Man spinoff Venom is finally set to be released later this year. Starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, this movie appears to have a much darker tone then the lighthearted Spider Man movies of late.
The now classic story about Eddie Brock, and an alien symbiote seems to have be slightly tweaked from its comic book origins. In the Venom movie, Eddie Brock is now an investigative reporter who seems stumble on symbiote testing. The suit appears to be acting on its own quite a bit. Hopefully this will be better than the Spider Man movies of late, not that it would be hard.
There is not much detail about the plot or potential heroes or villains at this point, we actually don’t know whos side Venom will be on in this movie yet. However, the trailer definitely looks interesting.
