SVS has been pumping out high quality sub-woofers for a long time. In recent years they started offering high quality speakers as well. Their Ultra series bookshelf speakers are hard to beat in the sub $1K price range.
The SVS Prime Wireless SoundBase is their latest creation. At $499 this 2.1-channel amp with wireless functionality is very impressive. Boasting a whopping 125w per channel (4ohm) and a healthy selection input (and output) options, the Soundbase is going to be hard to top.

All these specs are great, but none of it matters if it doesn’t sound good. During my brief time in the SVS suite at CES 2019 I was able to hear the SoundBase playing through both the SVS Ultra Towers, and the Ultra Bookshelf speakers. The box may be small but it had more than enough power for both of these speakers. I left feeling extremely impressed and wanting to buy one of my own.
